It's that time again! Time for our Bigg review of things we've loved reading, viewing, eating and doing during the month of March.
1. Marketing - Lacoste
Our favourite campaign this month is Lacoste's efforts to save the world's most endangered species. They're replacing their infamous crocodile (for the first time in the brand's 85 year history) with a menagerie of ten animals who face extinction. Each of the species will be immortalised in embroidery form, but only in a very limited production run that will correspond to the number of that particular species left in the wild. For example, they will only produce 30 vaquita porpoise branded shirts. We love the way Lacoste have used their own iconic brand identity to create such a bold campaign, drawing attention to an incredibly important issue.

2. Moments - International Women's Day
Every year we relish the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women all over the world on March 8th for International Women's Day. In London, an International Women's Day flag flew over parliament for the first time ever. While more than 100 MPs from all parties wrote to the home secretary, Amber Rudd calling for women in Northern Ireland to be allowed access to safe abortion services locally rather than being forced to travel to England. In Spain, more than five million workers took part in the country's first ever nationwide 'feminist strike.' The unprecedented action was intended to highlight sexual discrimination, domestic violence and the wage gap. Online, comedian Richard Herring reprised his tradition of responding the astonishing amount of tweets asking 'where is International Men's Day?' (it's 19th November by the way). This year Herring used his tweets to raise money for the domestic violence charity Refuge.

4. Music - Rejjie Snow
One of the reasons we love being based in Bristol is we get to see such an incredible range of live music. Our favourite gig in March was without a doubt Rejjie Snow in Motion. The irish rapper's 'Dear Annie' tour comes hot on the heels of his debut name bearing the same name. He might be a mere 24 years old but managed to captivate the entirety of venue with relative ease, showcasing his elegantly crafted lyrics and bouncing off his DJ to create an electric atmosphere.
5. Movie - Lady Bird
Our favourite film this month was without a doubt, the incredible Lady Bird. Directed by Greta Gerwig and starring Saoirse Ronan, the semi-autobiographical comedy-drama is a coming of age story like no other. The stunning acting and beautifully crafted script reduced us to tears at times while also leaving us laughing hysterically. Go and catch it in cinemas while you still can!
