As we wave goodbye to April and look forward to some (hopefully) much sunnier days we're looking back on our favourite moments from the past month. From Mariah Carey to Beyoncé, here's our star-studded April Bigg 5!
1. Marketing - Mariah Carey for Hostelworld
Hostelworld's latest marketing campaign features none other than the ultimate diva, Mariah Carey. In a three-minute video created for online and PR, we see Carey arrive at a hostel, accidentally booked by one of her assistants - she soon discovers that the hostel experience is not as grim as one might expect. The video ends with Carey putting on a glorious impromptu performance of her 1995 hit, 'Fantasy' and closes with the tagline 'Even divas are believers.' Marek Mossakowski, Hostelworld global head of brand said "Even people with the highest standards can become hostel believers - and divas don't come any bigger than Mariah Carey."

2. Movie - Isle of Dogs
This month, Wes Anderson took us on a stop-motion adventure to a near-future Japan in his new film Isle of Dogs. In this imagined dystopian future, the corrupt mayor of a fictional city, Megasaki has banished all the city's dogs to a bleak, trash filled island. When they are close to giving up hope a saviour arrives in the form of 12 year old Atari, on the hunt for his beloved pet, Spots. He's joined on his quest by a ragtag bunch of hilarious mutts voiced by a sensational cast including Bryan Cranston, Jeff Goldblum and Bill Murray.
3. Music - 'Nice for What'
April has been filled with fantastic music, including new albums from Cardi B and Kali Uchis and of course a surprise song from Drake, 'Nice for What.'The track samples Lauryn Hill's 1998 song 'Ex-Factor.' You'll forgive us for playing the track on repeat when you see the incredible video featuring some of our favourite female powerhouses including Issa Rae, Emma Roberts, Rashida Jones, Tiffany Haddish, Olivia Wilde, Tracee Ellis Ross, Letitia Wright, the Internet's Syd and more. We're not only obsessed with this video because it's achingly cool, we also love the way the focus of the video is a myriad of incredible, influential and talented women that the song aims to celebrate.

4. Moment - Beychella
Unless you've been living under a rock, your feeds have probably been filled with perfectly styled images of Coachella festival. Beyoncé made history with her performance, she was the first woman of colour to headline the music festival in Indio, California. For nearly two hours Beyoncé captivated the huge crowd with an array of surprises including a Destiny's Child reunion, a duet with her husband Jay-Z and a dance with her sister Solange that left us crying happy tears.

5. Milestone - Battle of Lansdown
We love a Bigg challenge! This month one of the Bigg team, Hannah took on the mighty Battle of Lansdown. The 10km obstacle course race pushes entrants to their limits (all in the name of fun of course). Well done Hannah!
