Clean Bees are a commercial cleaning company with directly employed, DBS-checked teams working across Bristol. The old website didn't reflect that quality. It was slow, hard to update and losing ground on every commercial search that mattered. Queries like "commercial cleaning bristol" sat around page two with a click-through rate near zero, and virtually all organic clicks came from people who already knew the brand.

Rebuilt as a fast static site
Replaced the ageing WordPress build with a fast static site: clean structure, a service page for every sector Clean Bees works in, and schema markup throughout. Designed around the things buyers actually check, from accreditations to photo-verified results.
Search optimisation, run weekly
A continuous programme rather than a one-off audit: title and metadata rewrites driven by live click-through data, internal linking, content refreshes and cannibalisation fixes, with every change benchmarked against Search Console a fortnight later.
Content built around buyer questions
Insight guides targeting the questions procurement people genuinely ask, from "what does a builders clean include" to "what to look for in a school cleaning contract", each one linking back to the service page it supports.
Average non-brand search position improved from 20.3 to 16.4 and is still climbing as Google settles on the new structure. The builders clean guide already ranks in the top five and is the most-clicked page on the site after the homepage. Clean Bees also now appears in AI assistant results, a channel that didn't exist for them before the rebuild.
These are early numbers. Search compounding is the point of the programme: every title rewrite, content refresh and internal link builds on the last.
