The brief

The challenge.

Johnsons Stalbridge Linen Services, established in 1975, supplies linen and laundry to the hospitality industry across the UK. When COVID shut down hotels and restaurants, demand collapsed and the recovery was slow and uncertain. Johnsons needed to stay visible, protect their pipeline and keep winning new contracts through the toughest years their sector had faced.

Our approach

What we did.

01

We built and managed Google Ads campaigns targeting hotels, restaurants and venues with live linen requirements, promoting Johnsons’ sustainability and ethical sourcing to stand out in a cautious market.

02

We grew organic visibility across the commercial terms that bring new business, from hotel laundry services to industrial laundry, through on-page optimisation, content and technical work.

03

We fed conversion data back into the campaigns month after month, refining targeting and bidding to keep performance efficient as conditions shifted.

04

We manage Johnsons’ social media, with a focus on LinkedIn, building engagement among their existing employees and strengthening the brand from the inside out.

The outcome

The results.

01

Growth when the market was shrinking.

In 2023, as hospitality recovered, we grew paid conversions 19% on the same budget as the year before.

02

6,157 conversions over four years.

Quote enquiries, calls and emails from hospitality businesses across the UK, from London and Birmingham to Glasgow and Bristol.

03

Engagement on LinkedIn rose 85% as our social media management brought employees closer to the brand.

A partnership built to last.
